Wario Land: Shake It!

Recommended Posts

Wario Land: Shake It!, a classic side-scroller for the Wii console stars Wario, the smelly, bad-mannered alter ego of Mario. With the Wii Remote controller turned sideways like an old-school controller, veterans and newcomers alike can run, jump and smash their way through hectic side-scrolling stages. Players shake the Wii Remote to help Wario take down his enemies, empty bags of treasure or cause earthquakes. Best of all, there are numerous stages each offering multiple missions to keep players coming back again and again to unlock everything, collect more coins or just improve their best times.

Gamespot Review

The good

* Lots of replay value

* Gorgeous background art and animation

* Challenging puzzles.

The bad

* Gimmicky controls

* Short Story mode.

Wario Land: Shake Dimension is a fun action romp (dare we say with an occasional puzzle?) with a decided nod to the past glory of the genre. However, its short, easy-to-finish story mode and occasionally lackluster control system hamper what is an otherwise solid platformer.

this game,this game!this game!!THIS GAME IS FRIGGIN AWESOME!!!!

WOW!!!i wasn't expecting this infact i bought this game simply for the fact that it got good reviews and was expecting it to stay in my backlog,which is huge FYI,for a long time.This game is everything you want from a 2d platformer and more,it's no mario but another thing thing alltogether,which is a very good thing.

So,far i've completed the two wolds and the experience has been nothing short of spectacular,the controls are simple,there is waggle here and there,btw the waggle feels great,it doesn't do anything revolutionary and can be pretty easily replaced with button presses but GODDAMMIT!!!!it still feels wonderful and adds greatly to the experience.The game isn't hard,atleast so far but i don't mind that at all cos i dunno every moment just feels worth playing.

I know i'm a bit late here but those who still haven't played this game and own a Wii should kick themselves in the rear and ask the almighty Iwata for forgiveness and buy this game ASAP!!!!Infact i'm kicking myself for not buying this game sooner.
