Now that the price hike is official, Indian gamers can pre-order EA PC games from the Indian Origin store, if they choose to do so.
The games up for pre-order are all of EA’s offerings this year such as Battlefield 4, Need for Speed: Rivals and FIFA 14. Surprisingly, TitanFall, a game that doesn’t have a global release date yet is also available for pre-order. Out of all these games, FIFA 14 is the only one priced at Rs. 2,499. The rest have stuck to the initially rumoured Rs. 3,499 price point.
Nearly two weeks ago, we offered Indian gamers a platform where they could express themselves in a civilized manner to EA, and while that movement did gather a lot of steam, it failed to elicit a response from EA.
