Rapper Jay Z to executive produce NBA 2K13

The Jigga man himself, Jazy Z has come on board as executive producer for EA’s latest NBA game, NBA 2K13. After hip-hop, a clothing line-up, night clubs and a host of other businesses that have made this rapper a gazillion dollars, it seems Jay Z has now turned to videogames since it is after all one of the fastest growing forms of entertainment the world over.

We’re not too sure how involved he’ll be in the making of the game but it looks like he’ll be handling the game’s OST for starters. Plus having a name like Jay Z associated with your brand is a sure fire way to generate hype. NBA 2K13 will release for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, PS Vita and Wii on the 2nd of October 2012.
