Given that last year’s WWE game wasn’t particularly well received, developed Saber Interactive seems to be shaking up the formula this year with WWE 2K Battlegrounds, a brand new arcadey, over-the-top wrestling game that features interactive levels where players can brawl their heart’s out.
WWE 2K Battlegrounds will ship with a bunch of different games modes including a full fledged campaign, as well as both online and offline versus modes such as King of the Battleground and Exhibition. Battlegrounds will allow players to not just customise the crap out of their WWE superstars, but they’ll also be able to customise the levels themselves. Battlegrounds will ship with an extensive roster of over 70 athletes that includes all the new ones as well as legends like Andre the Giant, Undertaker, Mankind, Shawn Michaels and many more.
WWE 2K Battlegrounds releases September 18, 2020 for the PS4, PC, Xbox One, Switch and Google Stadia.
