AK77
you checked ibuy power battallion? I made a config with 7970m and identical to 1999$ of dell alienware m17x but there its costs around 1559$ + you getting plenty of free games including far cry 3,sleeping dogs and some other, so if possible check it once. I am not saying buy from there but at least check all options, cause the sources are limited in India only not in states.

ALPHA17
Thanks a lot bro. Can overclock with this config? Also will this config, run games for 2 years? Sorry over-clocking system is much more expensive. This configuration will do well with most games releasing in the next two year (exceptions remain) @full-HD resolution and High --> medium eye-candy. Hope this helps, Cheers! Ya u r right AMD HD7970 3GB vs. AMD HD7950 3GB (boosted clocks) --> Benchmark run @Anandtech.com. You can get much higher stock-clocks on the HD7950 3GB than the 850MHz boosted clock version being sold and that itself will put it ahead of the HD7970 if not ahead. If an 80W Intel Core i5 can get the job done why get a ~120W AMD piece to do same work? Edited January 17, 2013 by ALPHA17
