After the Overwatch beta when offline in December, Blizzard is using the player feedback to balance the game further and bring the beta back online this February.
Jeff Kaplan, Overwatch game director at Blizzard, has aid the team wants to “ add one more big feature to the next beta patch.”
“After looking through all of the feedback from last year, one of the things we noticed players consistently mentioning was their desire for more game modes in Overwatch,” he said.
In addition to a new game mode, the beta will also include new maps and a progression system.
An exact date for the beta is not yet mentioned, but Blizzard is looking at sometime in mid-February. “We don’t intend to slip out of February,” Kaplan assured.
Blizzard will make an announcement a week in advance once the beta date is finalised. Interested players can check if they are eligible for the closed beta on Blizzard’s beta page.
