Red Dead Redemption 2 PC system specs unveiled; exclusive content revealed

A whole lot of Red Dead Redemption 2 info coming your way.

Last week developer Rockstar Games announced the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2, and today they’ve released the specs that will be required to run this game. Besides that, they’ve also listed out pre-order bonuses, as well as all the content that’ll make its way exclusively to the PC version of RDR 2.

First, let’s take a look at the game’s specs:

Minimum Specifications:

  • OS: Windows 7 – Service Pack 1 (6.1.7601)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K / AMD FX-6300
  • Memory: 8GB
  • Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 2GB / AMD Radeon R9 280 3GB
  • HDD Space: 150GB
  • Sound Card: DirectX compatible

Recommended Specifications:

  • OS: Windows 10 – April 2018 Update (v1803)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4770K / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
  • Memory: 12GB
  • Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB / AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB
  • HDD Space: 150GB
  • Sound Card: DirectX compatible

If you have the horsepower, you’ll also be able to run the game in 4K with full HDR as well as multi-monitor support. As far as exclusive content goes, RDR 2 for the PC will ship with:

  • 3 new Bounty Hunter missions
  • 2 new gang hideouts
  • 2 new treasure maps
  • 4 new weapons for story mode
  • 7 new horses for story mode
  • 5 new trinkets

Red Dead Redemption 2 is now available for pre-order on the Rockstar Games Launcher, and pre-ordering the game till October 22 will enable you to earn a pre-order bonus in the form of two free Rockstar games. You’ll be able to choose from these Rockstar titles:

  • Grand Theft Auto III
  • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
  • Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
  • Bully: Scholarship Edition

Red Dead Redemption releases on the PC November 5 2019 through Rockstar’s Game Launcher, Epic Store Greenman Gaming and the Hunble Store. The game will make its way to Steam sometime in December 2019.
