MadridistaLove Posted January 18, 2008 Report Share Posted January 18, 2008 i switched on my console today morning and the console worked for 20 mins then the red lights in da 1st and the 3rd quardrant started fashing red!! the error code was 0012.. i checked the fans and both of them were running normal!! last time,in my previous console the fans weren't workin......so i played by keeping my 360 in front of the ac.....and it worked nicely without any problems even without the fan!! but i tried keeping in front of the ac , but in vain!!i showed the two red lights!! this error code is for "overheating" but i really think there is some other problem.....the place where i keep my 360 is properly ventilated,so no chance of improper ventilation!! hav ordered a replacement!!..........THIS IS MY 3RD REPPLACEMENT IN "4 WEEKS".....BUT MS DOESNT f**kIN CARES!!......I LOVE XBOX 360 BUT THESE THINGS R FADING IT!!.........ITS SO f**kIN DISAPPOINTING.....cant express it :cry5: any help to run the console till replacement arrives!!?? I got my replacement in November and its working just fine till date. I think it would be worth investigating the power provisioning setup for your entertainment centre. Necrosys Posted January 18, 2008 Report Share Posted January 18, 2008 Even my third replacement is on the way.Regardless to say that I have not played enough of Xbox 360 for the last three months.Out of 12 months of hardware warranty,3 have been wasted like this. The fan is on full speed.. Sheesh....3rd in a month I just told him to yell at the xbox reps on monday and ask them to send a brand new console or he goes to consumer court . Don't know if it will work or not.
