Heh, did you hear that post-E3 announcement from Shigeru Miyamoto that there'd be a new Zelda coming out in 2010?

He specifically said that people should remember the sword-fighting and archery in Sports Resort, if they want to know what it'll be like, but that it would also depend on how well the Wii Motionplus attachment sold. Obviously they don't want to risk making it Motionplus-only if there isn't enough of an install base, but I suspect there will be. Hell, I'm on pre-order for Motionplus, and I'll be picking mine up next week -- but the damn Sports Resort game doesn't come out until next month!

^^yea read about it,

i have no doubt in my mind that motion plus is going to take off, should be enough out there by the time zelda gets released heck they can even bundle it with the game if the install base is a concern.

Well, that's what Miyamoto's saying, and he hinted that the gameplay dynamics would involved Motionplus and may be drawn from what we're seeing in Wii Sports Resort (ie. swordplay and arrow-slinging)

I think that would make it the best Zelda title yet.

4400 with MP isnt that bad a deal. Whats the going rate for Wii games in the grey market?

I think *ahem* games are around a 100 bucks... I think you can get originals for 1.5 to 2k... I saw Wii sports resort with motion plus 3.5k... Though its official release date was 26th July... I don't think its released in India yet :console:

I don't think Nintendo titles get official releases in India.

Some online retailers were bundling an extra MP along with the one the game comes with. Two for the price of one, basically. I'm not sure those offers are still on, though.

So I've been playing this a lot and so far, I'm enjoying it quite thoroughly. i am but nintendo's humble bitch once more :)

my only real complaint, which is much like with the previous wii sports game when we were just introduced to the console, is that everything's but a sample of how well the motionplus controller concepts have been introduced but not enough to really consider each game shown off to be a full-fledged traditional "game" in itself. nonetheless i am impressed with the tech and looking forward to get either grand slam tennis or virtua tennis in the coming week or so (both support motionplus but i can't decide which is better!!!!).

as if this was any surprise:

REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Nintendo has provided staycations to thousands of people nationwide since the July 26 launch of its Wii Sports Resort™ game. Yup, I've been enjoying Wii Sports Resort too. It has 12 main types of games, with each of them having 3 variants. So you're talking about 36 games in all. Pretty awesome value for the money.

It's best to pick up an extra Motionplus/Wiimote, so that you can play 2-player. It's fun as hell.

This was a worthy sequel to Wii Sports, but as Keeznah noted, I'm imagining that other developers will take the Motionplus further with their game concepts.

I was having fun doing basketball jumpshots in Wii Sports Resort, but imagine using Motionplus to toss grenades. As noted, the swordfighting challenge is fun. Can't wait to see more swordfighting games in the future.
