This action/shooter hybrid reveals the back story behind the fall of the Umbrella Corporation by exploring locations from Resident Evil 0, 1, 2 and 3 as well as new never-before-seen locations, such as Umbrella's stronghold. Using the Wiimote, you take aim at enemies and fire away. Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles combines first-person, light-gun style combat with interactive pathways, multiple weapons and new enemies to create an entirely new Resident Evil experience that could only be delivered on the Wii. RE is a hardcore gamer type of title and Capcom will need to release it on at least one of the other next gen consoles to make good money out of it. RE is a hardcore gamer type of title and Capcom will need to release it on at least one of the other next gen consoles to make good money out of it. LOL and RE4:Wii edition which already sold shitloads with already passing 700k mark wasn't a hardcore game?and it was a 2 year old game at that.. if history has shown us anything games be it hardcore or not generally sell well on systems that have the biggest userbase which the Wii is soon going to be if not already on a worlwide basis. Hell yeah. Twilight Princess is a pretty hardcore adventure game which has already sold 3.65 million copies worldwide, third only after Wii Play and Gears of War. And yes, Wii already has the biggest user base, it surpassed 360 last month. X360 is no longer the leading next gen console in terms of total user base, sitting at no 2 now. RE4's sales must have surprised even Capcom, considering the game is not even a remake, its basically same game with Wiimote controls and added content from PS2 version. While playing a game it doesn't give any problem as far as overheating goes,i sometimes play it for more than 10 hrs straight and it barely heats up.
