natty_the_1st Posted June 7, 2015 Report Share Posted June 7, 2015 Well I been wondering for some time now if lets plays in Hinglish meaning in the kind of language we guys use amongst ourselves normally. Of course delhi boys will speak different amongst themselves compared to say Mumbai boys but you get the gist I suppose. natty_the_1st Posted June 11, 2015 Author Report Share Posted June 11, 2015 Okay guys I have decided my purpose in life or at least one of the more important ones is to make gaming videos on youtube, be they game play videos, LetsPlays, Rants (since my youtube id is rantingraj I think I am obliged to do some ranting) and I have some decent ideas for some other kind of playlists anyways I recently played this excellent game Mount & Blade warband (I know I should have played it sooner) but anyways liked it so much that a I thought a blind playthrough of the game (I know this is a bad idea almost always) but I couldn't help myself. Here's the first couple of videos I made for this Lets Play series, guys your feedback as fellow gamers would be great and would help me improve in the areas I am lacking (Btw I have now bought a good quality condenser Microphone so my sound quality should be better. Unfortunately my Digital Cam is not one you can use as a webcam so I will have to get a webcam or a camera that can work as a web cam and the hoi polloi will have to wait to see my handsome face on my videos) I also did an hindi gameplay commentary video earlier for a game called Valiant Hearts again with my shitty mic but I abandoned it after one episode and after that theres also a video just showing how GTAV runs on an Nvidia Geforce 660ti with an I5 processor and 8gb ram. I hope no one says youre nor cut out for it.. I will literally cry (edit)p.s forgot to mention I am gonna do a lets play for Xcom Enemy Unknown and Fallout New Vegas so as to get ready for Xcom2 and Fallout 4 which are gonna come out in the near future. Even one would be cheeky self promotion. Ask a mod to merge. 2 Get that new mic in ASAP. This one sounds terrible. 3 Lots of fillers when you talk. Way too many Ummmm and Ahhhhhhs. Cut them down to the lowest amount possible. 4 The commentary didnt really do anything for me (I only saw Mount and blade). Wasnt really entertaining or funny or insightful. 5 You sound almost bored like you are reading off a script, which I dont think you are. Bring some enthusiasm to it. 6 I wouldnt bother with rants. Too many youtube hacks with "angry rants gamer" personality. Again, sorry. I know all of that sounds negative but I think with enough practice its fixable. I love your feedback because most of it does sound true (actually nope.. is true) Btw anyone saw the Valliant Hearts video? that was the one I did in hindi cum slight bits of english... and I think that one is decent... Any feed back on that? And as far as rants go I couldn't help myself, I did a rant/more of a complaining/listing of issues video against Steam anyways (a lot of it is from an Indian/non US/CANADA/EUROPE user point of view ranting but thats that) Yeah fillers are still there in newer videos but I think my voice/commentary has improved at least some Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
