Developer: Nintendo

Platform: Nintendo DS

Release: Q4 2009

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks is an upcoming action-adventure video game for the Nintendo DS due to be released in 2009. It was announced by Satoru Iwata at the 2009 Game Developers Conference. In the game, the player will be able to travel across the game's main world using a train, the tracks of which the player can draw. It is similar to The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, in which the player uses an upgradable boat to travel by drawing its path on the touchscreen.

This looks exactly the same as PH, which is not bad thing, but I was hoping they would at least go in another art direction.

EXACTLY what came to my mind when I saw the trailer. PH is brilliant and all, but I'd have liked to see something different this time round.

I would have preferred something like Majors Mask. Had a nice distinct look and easy to pull off on a DS. I also have a feeling I am gonna hate the train sections (hated the boat bits in PH).

Now we need a new Mario game for the DS as well. E3 maybe.
