Developer Starbreeze has announced that its next game in development is Cold Mercury. The developer also revealed that it is a free to play (F2P) title.
Clearing any doubts that may arise amongst the fans, Starbreeze’s CEO Mikael Nermark clarified, “Starbreeze will not leave the AAA segment. We are discussing with several leading game publishers on publisher-financed games, but we will broaden our product portfolio of games in the new business models and segments that have arisen in the games industry.”
Starbreeze is also currently seeking a distribution deal for its surreptitious project ‘P13’, developed in association with Sweedish filmmaker Josef Fares. Starbreeze is known for games like The Darkness, The Chronicles of Riddick, and most recently, Syndicate.
