Download and upload tab shows the data which is being copied from the disc as well. It does seem like it's downloading the whole thing but it is not. Most probably you will be seeing 2 things progressing, one of those will be the copying thing and the other will be the update file. Stupid design decision. I am seriously not fan of this UI, so many shortfalls with so much space not being used. Also, I was updating GOT earlier on and the update file was 5.7GB, out of which 85X MB got downloaded and then it stopped. Deleted the whole thing and tried again, this time update was of around 600MB. But my ACT connection shows that 17GB of the data was downloaded. I am not sure which is reporting the data wrong.

So 4k 60fps in GOT is during High Resolution mode or High performance mode? Edit: Nevermind, stick to resolution.

And now I can definitely hear that coil whine. Long story short, I am already ready for the Ps5 Slim or Pro.

I had a Ps4 Pro and the drive was never this loud. Ps4 Pro's fan during GOW was certainly less loud than this drive at full tilt.

Deleted the update file and the console started working normally again. Added the download back and it's downloading but at a measly 16Mbps on my 200Mbps connection, on LAN. Test network shows full speed and couple days ago was even downloading at full speed. Sony needs to fix this thing.

My Ps5 started downloading an update for GOT. It got paused and now is stuck on "Calculating remaining time" and the rest of the system has become painfully slow. Can't even use D-pad to navigate properly.

This ain't a bluray drive. It's a washing machine doing its thing. Plus, I hate how it throttles or pauses download while copying data.

Does XSX drive also make this much noise?

2020 was supposed to be a family trip to Australia while 2021 was with friends, place wasn't decided but we were thinking about Japan. I wouldn't even mind going on a trip alone though. I intend to travel a lot in coming years.

I am the same boat. I had plans for 2020 and 2021 before Covid struck and have been trying to come up with a plan for summer especially because it's the last one before work starts. As far as I have searched, almost impossible to visit Singapore, England, Japan, New Zealand and Australia. You can go to Canada, Ireland but with huge expenses for quarantine, same goes for France and neighbouring EU countries. US downright impossible if you don't have visa because you won't get one right now and also new order demands quarantine. Other asian countries like Thailand are closed off as well. Only option left is Dubai. That's open, doesn't require quarantine. But in summer, that place is hot, hot, hot. I think best case scenario will be 2021 Christmas season. I don't see countries changing their policies any sooner. Regarding safety, well, gotta wait and see.

Came across a tweet earlier where Sony replied to a guy saying "It's upto the dev". So I am not sure. The MM disc mention "Licensed for sale in Europe, India and Russia". So it's an error where the DLC is not marked with the same region.

Disc is of Region 2, which is the official one for India. So Insomniac/Sony has overlooked it from their end.

This is a gross overlook from Insomniac's side. I guess just make a UK account and then get it, but it will cost 2000.

Try googling some Line interactive inverters (generally around 4-6ms delay). But if you want to completely eliminate delay then search for Online inverters. No delay but will cost much more.

@GunnerY2J I was expecting you to answer somewhere around these lines. Google how body uses Glycogen for muscle growth, how it replenishes it during rest periods and how in the absence of it, body breaks the muscles down.
