Parts i hated in Showcase were Riot games stuff and that shitty looking Obsidian game pentiment and Fallout76 and ESO parts were also sh*t. And also few indies like As Dusk Falls. No thanks. Games im gonna play and lookingforward to are Redfall, Flintlock, Plague tale 2, Diablo 4 and Starfield. Games im gonna try is Forza and Overwatch 2. Im gonna check Forza out for eye candy and Overwatch 2 just coz its free to play.

Thats why said people who comparing Starfield and NMS are mostly clueless and never played BGS RPG or understand how Bethesda RPG works. BGS doing procedural generation way before NMS and its also far more in depth BGS games.

Bethesda won't switch their engine unless their game fails massively. Starfield is their next main game after Fallout 4 and if it bombs massively and gets same reception like Cyberpunk only then they might switch Engine. Cybperpunk disaster resulted in CD Red ditching their own engine and using UE5 now for Witcher 4.

Let me tell you both Skyrim and Fallout 4 had lots bugs and none of them games were graphical power house yet both games were 90 plus on Metacritic and GOTY nominees. As long as game is good and fun to play and not completely busted at launch. It will get good reviews.

Horizon FW looks better than Starfield gameplay which was shown and till Bethesda continues to use Creation Engine, they will be behind compared to other games in that department. None of the previous Bethesda games wowed gamers with graphics, Starfield is no different. It looks good but nothing amazing like Horizon or RDR2. It looks like a cross gen game but its only coming to SX/S and PC, not last gen. So it looks like it was made for last gen but they just decided to port to nextgen to reduce the development time and all.

How you expect them to show something which is not ready? Outerworld 2 development started like last year. They clearly said we only showing games coming out in next 12 months. They had gameplay ready only for those games which are coming out in next 12 months. Avowed not coming out in next 12 months.

Click bait article. Game not even out and bashing started. NMS style of grinding is in many games. Starfield will have story campaign and guilds and their quest line and alot more RPG elements. Its just not limited to resource grinding and collecting loot. And as far as it looking ugly then they should watch 4k hd video. Creation engine jank is there but game has beautiful looking locales and all. Game will only get better. Its still not releasing anytime soon.
