 @ anybody who like Physics theory but is bored by numerical

Dude Physics is not about knowing the Newton's Laws but it is about applying them correctly when the need be, knowing them is not the big deal, applying them is

That is the whole reason why Engineering entrance exams are numerical and not theoretical

SST related to concepts

It's a matter of preference, I love to know more about the functioning of world & human body.

That's why I loved Xth Bio,

Coneptual Physic is awesome(eye, scattering of light, Magnetism, communication, nuclei)

numericals don't interest me.

To each his own

okay SSt aint conceptual, it's just a matter of interest.

If it gets you interested it's easy, otherwise you take the mugger route

That's why I loved Xth Bio,

Everybody loves 10th Bio, it has "life process 2" :naughty:

for all the things that you have mentioned, dude, All of them are numerical, in fact the whole of physics is numerical. The whole object is learning Physics is to apply it.

What good is the knowledge of Optics if you cannot decide how to design a better lens ? To design it you need to find out the correct distance/dimensions/focal length - numerical

Same applies to everything in Science, EVERYTHING.

Why would I be designing lens, from a common man pov , numerical are hardly used.

If I was specialising in it, then ok, but for general life, concepts are better

What avkash said is completely true.Heck I am surprised you are able to separate physics into numerical and theory parts too. For me its an all out integrated stuff. The theory helps me with the numericals. You dont need say a separate practice for numericals and a separate practice for theory. They are one.

So I don't even feel like giving chemistry anymore. I have the worst luck ever.

I prepared hard for physics, had sleep before going, was confident & everything.

cut to the chase, my set was easy albeit lengthy, I estimated my marks, around 65/70, sweet music fills in.

2hrs in, my head was hurting, I got up, fainted, got hit by something(no idea), my chin got busted open(bone was visible)

I was unconscious, woke up in infirmary, paper over, 15 marks questions lost.

got 10-12 stiches, & all bandaged up.

I am feeling miserable, don't feel motivated to study chemistry :(

:suicide:

no fkin idea,

I experienced a wierd feeling, like I am sitting in my room, talking with mum,

this went for 10 min, I've already busted my chin but my beard hid.

I came to my senses in the infirmary.

Then I touched my beard, oodles of blood, I had no idea how much paper I left.

:suicide:

geography was boring but whatever,

now Imma go tackle physics <_<

Lol at those 10th boards ..

I just studied sincerely for last 3 months just before prelims , still scored 95% overall

so I calculated, 15 marks left, this is bad, this was a scoring paper.

lol nobody noticed my chin thing cause of my beard <_<

man need to cover the glut in chem & score near perfect in maths if I want anything decent.

Thanks anyways guys :)

U just have to score more than 60% in boards to qualify for JEE and AIEEE , ain't it ??

And don't overstudy a day earlier , doesn't help .. Instead sleep for a minimum of 7 and half hours ..
