Console wars are over in case you didn’t notice yet. Playstation Logo is also popping up on all M$ devices now. Every major M$ IP is on PS5 now & Halo rumoured to be announced in next few weeks. M$ is quitting proprietary console business & is no longer competitor for Sony. That time was a bit different. M$ acquired Double Fine after they had announced & even accepted Kickstarter’s crowd funding for the PS4 version of the game. So legally they couldn’t back out….but they never announced PS5 version till date.

Exactly, graphics was never the attraction of the game, it's always has been the gameplay.

This was the case with Psychonauts 2 as well and the rivalry was at full swing at that time.
