Bethesda has recently released the Creation Club update for Skyrim Special Edition. And now in celebration, players have free access to the Survival Mode.

Temper your expectations though since the mode is only accessible via the Creation Club and is on free trial until the 10th of October.
PC and Xbox One users have access to third-party mods but for the vast majority of console users and on Sony’s PlayStation 4 platform, the Creation Club is the sole point of access for any mods with similar gameplay changes.

Skyrim Special Edition is currently available for the Sony PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Microsoft Xbox One platforms. It is currently under development to be released on the Nintendo Switch as well.
