^^ do u buy movies just for the format ? ghost rider is definitely an avoidable movie. Not even worth a second look, same for stealth and underworld.

And why is LOTR trilogy missing :eyebrow2: ??

I am an avid collector of movies. I have a much bigger collection of DVDs than BD+games combined. I have stopped buying DVDs after I tasted the real deal i.e. blu-ray. Plus, what you like may not be liked by others.

*Thinking of GTA4 example*

I did see that list, just more inputs, and another question is it really worth getting these filcks on BR??? I mean it almost 1k per movie...

O and my friend is coming down from US, so UK amazon is not a possibility!

if you absolutely love the flick and its a good blu-ray transfer with ample extra features then its totally worth it at 1k. And I am assuming you have a full HD set up.

^^ is a blu-ray worth buying if i have an HD ready LCD and a normal 2.1 sound system /?

to some extent, but you could settle for some BD rips as well. Eventually you are going to have full HD with good audio set up sometime down the line, aren't you? If not then i dont see any value picking up BDs yet.

Well sir, rite now my Ps3 is connected to my Samsung 26' which is 720p, and I just got the Dell 2408WFP for my comp which is full HD, wanna hook up the PS3 to it, but there is simply no place on my desk for it. so for now will have to do with HD ready and not full Hd :naughty: is that not too good for BR???

and yea i love some of the flicks they are awesome, I have seen most of em x.264 rips they look lovely!!

So i have added these titles thus far

Hellboy (Director's Cut) [blu-ray]

Iron Man (Ultimate Two-Disc Edition + BD Live) [blu-ray] -alltho dunno if i should get the 2 disc edition , coz the vanilla edition is &10 cheaper. Not sure wat the extra disc is gonna have anyways

Troy - The Director's Cut [blu-ray]

Black Hawk Down [blu-ray]

Casino Royale [blu-ray]

considering:

tranformers

HULK

Sony Bravia w series 32" TV claims to support full 1080p. What does this mean ? I thought only TVs above 40" to support 1080p !

Who ever told you this either was totally dumb or was on a high....

even a 22" Monitor from benq now supports 1920*!080(Full HD) resolution.

^^ Monitors are different. I'm talking only about TVs.

Anything above 24" can support Full HD until this monitor came about and ya 32" Full HD tvs have been around for some time. :threatenlumber:
