shekdown
those are not over the top bids and most of them have performed well unlike city player they must have payed a little more but everyone does that but haven't seen any club buying some player just so that other team can have him What are you on about!? When did City ever sign a player so that another team cant have them!? You only have baseless allegations. Show me a reliable article and after reading it, I might agree with you. From whatever Ive extensively read, there is no such thing and its merely stemming from your dislike of Man City. Veron was also signed for around 29m. All that is irrespective of the fact of performances. City have a huge squad, most of the players have played well when called upon. Its only as a team they havent gelled. The signings have actually pretty damn good.

Madhav
those are not over the top bids and most of them have performed well unlike city player they must have payed a little more but everyone does that but haven't seen any club buying some player just so that other team can have him I see nothing wrong... If Manu sees value in Nasri, can't Manc see it as well..?! Its only because of the rival hate for Manc that some Manu fans are saying this!! If Arsenal/Chelsea/Spurs are linked to a quality player together that certainly wont mean that one team is showing interest so that the other can't have it... Thinking is entirely wrong IMO!! AngerSmash
i was ranting about city's overall outlook about feeding excessive salaries to the players n i hate city so feelings of mine are mutual with other united supporters Edited July 1, 2011 by AngerSmash

Mel81x
http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/media-watch/adam-edges-closer-to-reds-move I'm against letting Jonjo go because when he plays you can see him spark at times.
shekdown
Milner definitely hasnt clicked, but the others I think is down to lack of time to settle in and play. This was their first full season at the club. Ballotelli has done quite well when called upon, its his attitude which has been terrible(as always) and thats why it was never a good signing right from the off. Its quite simple, you've accepted your hate for City. Most of the sensible United fans who acknowledge their club spends over the top fees. In the end it brings them trophies is their comment, I cant really debate it because thats the ultimate aim. Ofcourse, claiming City chase Man Utd targets so that they dont get them and are the only team that has distorted the market is just plain wrong though. SchneideR
Sanchez, Sneijder and Nasri. Before City joined in the race for these three gentlemen, United had been the team that was heavily linked with them... Hence the trepidation against City... Anyways, City's pursuit of Sneijder is still not proven. Edited July 1, 2011 by SchneideR

Madhav
Sky Sports reports RM is ready to match Arsenal's €50million evaluation of Cesc... 10mil more than what Barca can offer!! & now, Suarez too dreams of playing in a Barca jersey!! Sanchez, Sneijder and Nasri. Before City joined in the race for these three gentlemen, United had been the team that was heavily linked with them... Hence the trepidation against City... Anyways, City's pursuit of Sneijder is still not proven. Any team which shells money is linked to high profile players... It used to be Chelsea who was blatantly linked more than Manc with such targets... BTW, Sanchez was primary target for Barca & Manc since January but Udinese said no.. I remember Manc even made an approach but was instantly rejected.. It was Manu and then Chelsea who actually started showing interest... Quality players who are interested in moving will be linked to top clubs and Manc is becoming one of them.. So, if Manu & Manc together get linked to a player, it'll be the naivety of anyone to think Manc tend to steal Manu targets & vice-versa... Really? Why is that so? yu could have just looked a couple of posts ahead & find the answers yurself!! Edited July 2, 2011 by Madhav
Madhav
argentina Needed a late goal to save the match . All that flair , all those "attacking" players wasted. Argentina seemed alot like Manc... Individual quality players who do not gel together as a team... Though Aguero's goal was a treat...
