DAT IDIOT!
FINAL FANTASY IV Developer: Matrix Publisher: Square-Enix Release: US (TBA) Platform: DS Genre: JRPG Producer: Takashi Tokita Story Boards: Hiroyuki Ito (The director of my favourite FF, FF IX) Final Fantasy IV on the Nintendo DS is a part of the older Final Fantasy remakes by SE. This game is being developed by Matrix, the same people behind the hugely successful FF III (DS). The main plot goes such - "As Cecil, the leader of Baron’s elite Red Wings force, the king tasks you to recover the world’s most powerful elemental crystals, from other peaceful nations, whatever the cost. However, after questioning these actions you are cast out and soon uncover a sinister plot, which left unchecked could result in the end of life as we know it. With your close friend Kain at your side you must set off on an epic adventure that literally takes you from the depths of the earth to the furthest side of the moon." KeezNah
Square Enix seriously needs to pan these DS releases. Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates just came out, then we got The World Ends With You coming up next week. Then we got this, a new Valkyrie Profile, Front Mission 2089: Border of Madness, Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift, Dragon Quest IX, the DQ remakes (IV, V, VI), Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, and lord knows what else after E3 and TGS is over. So long, sweet free-time

Bulovski
^^ LOL @ceoshubham - FFXII was HUGE, humongous, the swan song of the PS2. The graphics are top notch, story rocks, and it's a brilliant FF. FF II was never released in the US so many haven't heard of it. Actually FF IV was released in US as FF II - and the confusion gets worse because of FF VI and FF III. FF IX I forget - but many people did - because it came after VII and VIII. FF VII remake is again doubtful - that thing is a major money spinner because of the spin off franchise. But SE took a nice way in remaking FF 3 and 4 - both well loved games, but needed some more loving. FF IV - tragic hero doesn't even begin to describe this one. Bulovski
I am in heaven. Screw you GTA IV - you have been replaced in my mind with a new date to track. PS. Why do they have to explain that there are 4 crystals? This is FF!
Bulovski
We shall conquer the world! Started with Chaz (he left gaming and got stuck to DS). The first game i bought for DS was FF III. Well i bought the game before I actually got delivery of my shiny black DS lite. And my project mgr bought a DS - she has a PS3 and was a huge fangirl of consoles. But her DS is her soulmate now. :deviltongue:

Bulovski
^^ there were quite a few swan songs - everyone thought X360 and PS3 would kill PS2. But then there was GoW2, FF XII, and a couple of other games which still rocked the PS2. That console refuses to die. GoW 2 is a very satisfying experience but FF XII IMO was awesomeee. The PS2 churned out amazing graphics for this one.
