spindoctor
i play on a private server with an admin controlled whitelist, which means unless your name is on that list, you won't be able to login. sorry if it helps, i rarely do much on that server now. the number of mods that are running + the kinds of changes that have come into the game means that i'm basically lost. i'm more of a tourist now... i wander around looking at the amazing stuff other people have made . here's a google map of the server - http://ragemc.leeboitano.com/ (yes, you can generate google maps using some mod. it's ridiculous how much you can do in this game)

PS Fan
Minecraft Creator Shares Xbox 360 Version Details, Comments On The PS3 One At this years E3, Microsoft shocked a few people by announcing Minecraft for the Xbox 360 for this winter. Not only that, Minecraft will support Kinect and promises to bring the great experience that players faced while playing the PC version. In an interesting interview with IGN, the creator of Minecraft Markus ‘Notch’ Persson has revealed more information about how the Xbox 360 version will work and will there be a PlayStation 3 version of the cards: On the Xbox 360 version: The 360 version with be a new product based of the PC version of Minecraft. It will be designed to work better on a console and to focus on the types of experiences you expect when playing games on a game console. As an example of something that will change, the crafting needs to be done completely different. The current type of crafting with a game controller would be about as fun as name-entry is. And whether there will be PlayStation 3 version of Minecraft? I have been instructed not to reply to this question, so here’s a picture of a sheep instead: Edited July 15, 2011 by .Zodak. Blueelvis_RoXXX
Minecraft’s new armor system for 1.9 Jens Bergenstein of Mojang confirmed today that the team is indeed working on version 1.9 of the Minecraft beta. While 1.8 launched just days ago, the team is still hard at work for more updates to the game. Bergenstein revealed that he is working on developing an armor system for the game. Jens said he is working on making armor "slightly more durable" and working on a "simpler armor value calculation". Will it release before Minecraft leaves beta this November? It's a little too early to tell. Source-attackofthefanboy.com BTW, From now onwards i will keep this thread and that one of terraria updated with all news possible. as these both games deserve support! Blueelvis_RoXXX
The Minecraft Snow Golem Mob Coming Soon Notch recently introduced a new mob to Minecraft fans, which should be heading to the game in future updates. The new mob is called the Snow Golem, which the developer recently teased on his Twitter account. The Snow Golem is said to spread snow as it moves around, and won't be a hostile character. The Snow Golems will pelt creepers and spiders with snowballs enticing them to attack, as Notch calls them "suicidal". I suppose anything is better than having these baddies on your back. As it stands, the "Suicide Snowmen" should provide you with some back-up in the best case scenario, and a laugh at worst. When these Snow Golems will be heading to Minecraft was given by Notch, but stay on the lookout for more info on the new mob. Blueelvis_RoXXX
Minecraft 1.9 Leaked by Mojang With Minecraft 1.8 having been just released a short few days ago, noone was expecting 1.9 to drop so soon after. Earlier today, Jens Bergensten of Mojang sent out a tweet that included a link to download the latest version of the game. Likely to be used for testing purposes while development is on-going for the content that is said to feature "The Nether". The update also adds two new hostile mobs that are likely to give you fits without getting better upgrades. You can catch the link on @jeb's Twitter feed. ScrewyAurum
Some Minecraft players on Xbox 360 couldn't wait to play the game split-screen. However, it turned out the split-screen option was only available to those playing on a HD television. The problem stems from Microsoft not putting a notice about the split-screen requirements on the game's product page when it first launched. The problem has since been corrected. “We updated our pre-sale notification to inform customers that an HD screen is required for the split-screen multiplayer feature on Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition," a Microsoft spokesperson said in a statement sent to Game Informer. "If a player does not have an HD screen and purchased this game prior to the notification update, they are eligible for a full refund through customer support.” Minecraft on Xbox 360 has been a hit. The game sold over one million units in its first week on Xbox Live Arcade.
