Waiting for the latest patch to hit Steam, heard it improves performance and removes some of the bugginess. Just playing around a bit with the settings and just moved out of the camp for some action. I can't seem to find it in my list. How is the game overall? The game runs more or less the same as Stalker did at the " same/similar settings". The framerate does get a bit sluggish sometimes. There are some enhanchments to the engine which means it looks way better to me than Stalker did. However my observation about how well it runs is only limited to playing for a limited amount of time in a limited area. Plus I have been running it at higher settings than I do Stalker SOC. I get 50+ fps in SOC at the highest settings with some mods. Here I get around 30-40 fps (running it with the settings as shown in the screenshots above), with fps dipping to 24-25 in certain areas and certain times of the day and when there is a lot of action going around. The game has been available on Steam since quite a few days now - Since I have played just for about 1 hr or so I will need more time to judge the gameplay. I'll post my impressions in the Stalker CS thread if I get the time. Two more screenshots from me, this is the Camp in the late evening. Sun Shafts are there in the enhanced dynamic lighting setting which I am using. @Snake - Hehe, you were supposed to come to my place last Sunday, what happened?, you never showed up. Are you coming today by any chance? Some more Stalker Clear Sky screenshots (I swear these are the last Stalker shots from me...I reckon people will get bored from me plastering the thread with them..or maybe not...hehe). It will give you better performance and the game will still look great.
