egg man
Hi I'm looking for the best IEM that can be easily purchased in India (Amazon or eBay) within range of 5K. (except for Klipisch S4, BrainWavz M3 ; since I've had both already). I prefer something on Bass-heavy side but not too muddled like S4. Currently looking at Soundmagic PL50. Is it an upgrade from S4 and M3 ?

ALPHA17
I would suggest you look at the following Egg man, Signature Acoustics Elements C12 V.SONIC GR06 / GR07 BRAINWAVZ M4 / M5 HiFi Man RE400 SoundMAGIC E10M / E30 The SoundMAGIC PL50 is not really an upgrade from your current buds. If you want to know the relative strengths of all these IEM's check this thread by The Joker. Hope this helps, Cheerio!

I could not find them (except Brainwavz and Soundmagic ) in ebay or Flipkart or Amazon.in . And how is that possible that E30 (costs 2399)http:// is better than the higher priced PL50 ( 3000) . And where can i buy a V.SONIC ?
ALPHA17
Signature Acoustics, SoundMAGIC and BRAINWAVZ from Pro Audio Home, Bombay. V.SONIC and HiFi Man from HiFinage, Indore. SoundMAGIC is available widely and get it from wherever you find it cheapest. eBay.in, flipkart, Home Shop 18 et al. All these carry one year replacement warranty. And in the case of the first two retail sites, they are the official distributors so you will need to ship it back to them. Cost of the IEM has little to do with its performance, it is like saying an iPhone is better than a mid-range Droid because of price. Every IEM has its own sound signature and depending on your usage and your musical taste, you will be biased towards a particular piece. Hope this helps, Cheerio! But both PL50 and E10 are from same company. Then is it wrong to assume that the higher priced one are the better performer ?
ALPHA17
Hi Yes. But both PL50 and E10 are from same company. Then is it wrong to assume that the higher priced one are the better performer ? Overtime the company develops better products and solutions which cost lesser to produce. That is how things role. PL50 was one of the initial releases from SoundMAGIC, when they were new on the scene, their top dog. Now it has been more or less replaced by the E10 / E30. ALPHA17
i'm guessing they ship to India, what about customs? eta etc ... They usually mark down the value of the package, shipping is handled via Air Mail (regional) or FedEx in the case of mp4Nation as far as I am aware and they do have occasional free-shipping offers as well. Cheers!
