Man In The Box
+ 1 KKR team isn't strong. Except for Sourav and Gayle, I don't see any strong batsman in the side ( McCullum is coming only after March). The bowling still seems better with Langevelt, Bond, Sharma and Mendes but the batting line-up could be our biggest problem as we all know Sourav isn't consistent anymore and Gayle may not be in top form as he was in the last year's edition. Sharma is bowling like sh*t.... They however hv David Hussey n Brad Hodge... they lack local talent...
Gta_mad
i don think they hv a good enough team.... SRK as a Team owner is Epic Fail... actually KKR failed to Pick/Chose some good Players in that 1st Auction, blame Whole Team Management for this, kkr took Ponting instead of other Good players, +KKr facing the problem non availability of good players (like Gayle...) +this Team is Completely Depended on the world Class players, not a single Domestic Player(except Laxi and Saha)can play a Match Winning Role
theneurotoxin
Mr.Ponting got lucky with a decision today, could have been given out early on in his innings.
Man In The Box
Sharma is bowling like sh*t.... They however hv David Hussey n Brad Hodge... they lack local talent... Totally forgot about Hussey and Hodge! Yeah, the "maximum of 4 foreign players" rule is going to be a problem for KKR. If it wasn't for that, we have one of the best teams in the IPL. But yeah, as for the local talent - (except for Ganguly, Sharma and Saha) I don't think anyone is really up to the mark.

The reason y Delhi , DC , RCB n CSK did well r becoz they hv good local talent with over seas players..

aakarshd
No bowling whatsoever besides Murali. Especially the lack of an outright pace bowler will kill them. No international players as Flintoff and Oram not available. No Hussey till April 4th or something... If Hayden gets out, we're f**ked.... it's a sad team. I forgot about Royals, they are also really weak now but Delhi and Mumbai strongest hands down IMO
theneurotoxin
^Murali himself is crap, atleast in T20s.Anyway CSK never relied on its bowlers, all its good performances have been due to its strong batting lineup. You are being a bit unfair when you say there is only Hayden. He is the mainstay of the batting unit but there are also Raina,Morkel,Dhoni & Kemp. BTW Hayden is using the Mongoose bat: More details on the bat here. Edited March 11, 2010 by Rithvik
_Batman_
@Athek RCB has a great chance to make it to Semis this time aswell, their Indian contingent is quite formidable & they the most balanced Indian line among all teams.. Kohli, Pandey, Uthappa, Vinay, Mithun, Goswami are all in form, even International players like Cameroon white, Eion Morgan, Kallis & Steyn have been consistently doing well from the past few months, we can never ever sideline players like Rahul Dravid & Anil Kumble. only drawback is they will miss Ross the boss for the first half of the tournament.
