Grand Theft Auto VI
Rockstar were one company who really valued physical, and put in a lot of care and effort into them. Both with packaging as well as content. Such a shame to see them succumb to greed as well. I guess there's a very slim chance (if any?) that they announce a Collector's Edition down the line. But, I don't hold much hope. Neither with Rockstar, and certainly not retailers in this country, who scalp the Collector's Edition among themselves. Very sad state of affairs. -

Grand Theft Auto VI
RIP physical media No more re-selling or trading in the games Also, I am really not interested anymore to buy this game. This move from Rockstar is anti-customer, anti-preservation nonsense. I would respect them more if they went digital-only instead of having a physical version with a one-time use code. This entire thing is a move to kill 2nd hand gaming market. -

Single player cosmetics is the worst ultimate edition ever. How many times do they expect one to change hair style clothing or even car paint etc. -

Grand Theft Auto 6, the latest instalment of Rockstar Games’ biggest ever franchise, will cost $79.99, with a more premium edition costing $99.99. Rockstar said physical copies of the game will contain a code for a digital download for the game inside a box, rather than a disc. Rockstar added that players who pre-order digital versions of the game will be able to begin pre-loading it on their consoles on November 12 to ensure they are able to play at launch. The physical version of GTA 6 will also be available starting 12 November to support pre-loading. The more expensive “Ultimate Edition” will include features such as more vehicles, weapons and outfits for the characters. Source: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cjrg52egw1ro
