Rumour: GTA 6 Will Get a Disc-Based Physical Release After Its Initial Launch Following the news that GTA 6's physical editions will launch without a disc in the box, replaced with a digital download code, rumour has it that this will change later down the line. This comes via Polish site PPE.pl, which has heard from trusted source Graczdari that a physical version of GTA 6 that does include the game on a Blu-ray disc will follow some time after the initial launch on 19th November. "Generally, the release with the code will be one shot, and then the option for a disc release will follow," the source tells the publication (translated via Google). Apparently, this disc-based version will release just weeks after GTA 6's first distribution; it may arrive as soon as December 2026, ahead of the holidays.
