YMMV, of course, but I thought it was fine for the genre.

Even the pacing is improved significantly compared to the first movie. This one has more budget and it shows. I liked the fact that they didn’t take the audience for granted and weaved in a good story/narration.

OG could have been so much better. But writing and screenplay is very poor. The pacing just goes haywire in 2nd half

Kantara chapter 1 hits differently. Technically movie is brilliant. Lighting and camera work is splendid. 2nd half is pure goosebumps. Th intensity never goes down. Will watch it again in Imax
