Movie Discussion Thread Vol. 2
This is what I am saying they want all certified facts or all fiction, nothing in between. They are not even ok with even a bit of dramatization, or anything that is not in public domain, but could be known to filmmakers during their research. Like Doval has mentioned the incidence that noone replied to his Bharat Mata ki jai. Now movie shows Terrorist saying to Doval that "Hindus bahut darpok hote hai", reviewers for that says "there is no record of it". This was the same case with Kashmir Files, without knowing about incidents they claimed it's propoganda, like that rice drum thing and when they were told this happened with this family....they feigned ignorance. My dad when he was in the bank told about Fake currency notes issue, there is something people don't know which went on for years and prolly still happening. -

Problem is the part where Doval’s look alike implies that 2004-9 government didn’t bother when their own minister sold Currency Plates & some UP minister (of same time) allowed to flow fake currency in through Nepal. Also the lack of security even after warning was given that an attack is imminent through sea ports. This is whats caused burnlol 🔥 Also the fact that the same character emphasis how one day a stronger government & leaders will rise both at Centre & in UP to turn countries fortunes. This is clearly political but nothing that hasn’t been done in past movies. Rang De Basanti was clearly anti BJP/NDA-1 & depicted them in bad negative light. Many such instances in the past. -

Cyberpunk 2077
Late to the party but about to start this soon, just bought it on Steam. Will play with a controller cause I'm bad with a KB+M (and used to a console lol). Any good controller recommendations except the DS? -

How ‘Dhurandhar’ is a prime example of government-embedded filmmaking - The Hindu https://share.google/gy1muf1I2YjyEVHCF This is a fair critic, because it details out what problems Leftist have with Dhurandhar. To summarise, Leftist are ok with complete fiction (jetpacks, bikini clad ISI agents...) but if there are Facts presented, everything should be covered to have the monkey balancing. For example, it is ok to portray 26/11 attack but "some Pakistani newspapers calling it out" needs to be shown as well. If underworld of Lyari is shown, it also needs to show that "Lyari is mini-brazil with culture of football and pop music". [There was Ranveer playing football though] In the end, monkeybalancing is needed for these losers. And filmmakers should never dare bringing positive light on current govt, at any cost. I think after Dhurandhar, filmmakers won't bother about reviews. Audience sees through their buffoonery.
