Dude I’m not sure if you’re really this ignorant or just plain lazy to even check facts. First fact check for you, I don’t know what do you mean by a AAA movie. The nomenclature is usually used for games, not movies. If you’re referring to budget, a simple google search/any random ai tool would show you all the original movies that released in Netflix/prime, just check what was the budget of these movies. All the below movies released day 1 on Netflix and all of them had top actors/directors etc with budgets, similar or even more than most Hollywood movies : The Electric State: $320 million ( 2025) The Gray Man: $200 million (2022) Red Notice: Approximately $200 million (2021) Your whole argument/premise that subscription services is going to kill the gaming industry is completely invalid/devoid of any facts. There may be some side effect during the transition phase but eventually most companies would get around to the new model. Monetisation strategies would change, but most companies will find a way to work around it.- 1

No high Budget AAA movie is released on Subscriptions. Only very very small budget movies & shows are releasing on Subscription. (Not counting the pandemic period) Case in point neither Disney in Hollywood Nor JioStudios in Bollywood release their mega budget projects on their own subscription platform day1. Netflix & Amazon makes their own content which are never released in theatre & are not the mega budget projects we are talking about here. Now obviously even AltBalaji makes their own content for their subscription platform but that’s like wtf comparison!! You won’t see Disney releasing Avengers or Avatar on Subscription day1 & same is the case with JioStudios. -
