Is there any way to download the PSN content to PC, and then install it on the PS3? Downloading on the PS3 doesnt seem a very reliable option. Have got almost 40Gb of downloads queued
There is no problem in downloading from the ps3 once u input google free dns or any other free dns server addresses in ur DNS server setting on the ps3. Much better than using ps3proxy as ps3 takes much less power than most pcs(atleast mine) and u will end up with lower power bills

But I dont have a physical router. Use a 3G dongle which means I have to keep my laptop on too.

Oh.. I have no experience with virtual hot-spots :\ There must be a way, but it is hard to figure out without actually lingering with the system..
The PS3Proxy server seems to start, but the PS3 wont connect to the proxy. Internet connection fails.

What I want to know is -
- All of the free games that I've downloaded are slated to expire once my 3 month subscription ends? Is there no way I can keep them forever? I have 2 PSN accounts, and 2 PS3 accounts. Each PSN account is attached to 1 PS3 user. One India PSN account and one US.

Can you put out a revised step by step?
If I remember correctly.
One had to start the download and then pause.
Grab the link.
Download on PC.
Come back later (days later).
Add link to Proxy Server
Then download again
and click download in background.
Right?

Right?
1. On ps3 start the download. Then click "Background download". Pause the download.
2. Now start your proxy server in pc. Input proxy server details in PS3 network settings.
3. Resume the paused download from download management.
4. Grab the link from proxy server. You can use any download manager to download the .pkg file from that link.
5. After download completes. Go to replace files in proxy server & add the downloaded .pkg file with the link.
6. Resume download from PS3 again. It should transfer from your pc now.

Existing one does not work.
