does anyone know the custom duty levied on say a game that we purchase of playasia.com?

Customs depend on the physical size I would say.
Ordering just one or two games wouldn't probably cost you anything in customs, having said that it also depends on your luck!
If you use a credit card, your bank will do the converting and charge you for the same(transaction fee). So expect another Rs.100 or so in addition to your total bill and banks always have a higher conversion rate!

I had ordered UFC Undisputed 2010 
on 24th Sept and still haven't got the disk :-(.. I had contacted the support they said it is common for games to be delayed 2-3 weeks and asked me to wait another week.. I think by they time the game arrives they would launch the next version of the game

This sucks really.. It is going to be a month and still haven't received the game that I had ordered.. omg.. If I knew I would have never ordered it in the first place!! Seriously!!

The shipments to Del, Bombay are mostly prompt....Next time onwards you cud get it delivered to your friends' places in those cities.

I took a risk and ordered the Rock Band 3 PRO-Drum kit from a reputed eBay seller, and I'm going to order Rock Band 3 from Play-Asia. Lets see how it turns out. The drums will probably get stuck in customs given the massive size of the package. Even if Play-Asia takes a month to ship the game, I should hopefully get both around the same time.

A whole month!! Damn ...Ebay's way better than, granted the prices are comparitively high, but they deliver real fast, inclusive of shipping and stuff and once in a while u do find a good bargain though, its Ebay people!! lol
Why does it take a month via play asia otherwise, customs shouldnt pin u down so long and its a straight up "free" delivery as advertised by PA.
