  1. Guys my gamepass ultimate subscription is about to end on 15th of this month. With the current trick of gamepass core even if i purchase the annual subscription for 2k a piece (from e2z) to stack up 3 years and then 829 for 1 month of ultimate it comes to 6829 for 19months of ultimate with current 2:1 ratio (3years of core is 18months of ultimate and 1month ultimate bought for conversion). So that's roughly 360 per month. But i don't need ultimate just pc gamepass. Thus instead of 450 per month for pc gamepass, it comes to 360 per month. That's roughly 13k for 3 years of ultimate instead of 16k for 3 years of pc gamepass which isn't huge savings considering the gameless months i have due to work. Another similar but simpler option is to purchase 3months pc gamepass for 350 a month from e2z. Is there any other trick thats currently working? And is my calculation method above correct or am i missing something? Cheers.
  2. Guys for Keychron keyboard which Gatreon switches are better in terms of gaming? Red, Blue or Brown? I read the brown ones feel like a membrane keyboard so thinking of either reds or blues. This will be my first mechanical keyboard. The reds and browns are out of stock though (for aluminium k8 pro). Thanks. Cheers.
  3. Hello guys, want to purchase new wireless headphones primarily for multimedia consumption and secondarily for PC gaming. Have been using Sennheisers for Wireless and HyperX for wired audio needs so far. Budget is 20K. Please recommend. Have shortlisted a few options but doubtful of the support in India. SteelSeries Arctis 7 Lossless 2.4GHz Bluetooth Wireless - 18K Razer Kraken V3 Pro RGB - 19K ^Need Bluetooth, 3.5mm connectivity as well. Artics nova 7 fit the bill but unavailable in India. Would also like your thoughts on sub 10K wireless headphones from Sennheiser and JBL. Thank you. Cheers.
  4. Hello, wanted to know if Keychron keyboards come with a receiver? My PC doesn't have bluetooth so was exploring options to add bluetooth functionality so that i can connect both my mouse and keyboard to a single bluetooth usb adapter. Do the basic tp link bluetooth adapters do the job? Which is a reliable bluetooth adapter with full bluetooth range? Thank you. Cheers.
  5. Guys, which debit card has best travel offers? (free lounge access/discount on air tickets/hotel stays) I currently have kotak account, but its top tier debit card offers only 1 free lounge access per quarter. Thanks. Cheers.
  6. In-case of a monitor go for a bigger size, as per your budget, as you will be gaming on console only and you aren't looking for more than 60hz. I know you won't be using a couch but you will be using a controller so you don't necessarily need to sit too close on the desk itself. Plus 4K resolution would do justice on a 32inch instead of 27inch. TV is also a great option for console gaming as it's cheaper, but try to extend budget or reduce size and go for a good brand like Samsung/Sony/LG instead of chinese or local brands, as the picture quality and UI is far far superior. Don't fall for gimmicky applications and services on the chinese/local ones. There are far too many options in the 4k 60Hz category for a recommendation, so i would suggest to check out the inventory of few good retailers like MDComputers, Vedant, IT Wares, IT Depot etc. and narrow down as per brand, warranty support and budget. Good monitor. Most reviews i had seen were good. Some long term reliability and dead pixel complaints but depends on your piece. If you are ok with the curve, i personally find samsung displays to be really good. Look premium as well. Check warranty and return policy if buying online, in-case of a faulty piece. Cheers.
  7. Yes i got the router bridged the very next day. For people with airtel connection the process is actually simple which i will lay down below, if any one needs it in future, but the problem is the ignorance/lack of knowledge/money skimming directive of the airtel executives. Their attitude might vary from location to location but i went through all types of executives to finally get the right solution. Here are the 'right' steps for latest airtel fiber connection: - Get your connection setup with their router and test it for few days. Once you are sure the connection is stable call airtel and ask them to bridge any 1 port on your router. - This is done at the backend and there is absolutely no need for any executive to visit your place. - Only 1 port will be bridged i.e other ports become useless (not detected on lan). - Once its done, airtel executive will call and inform you. - Change mode from "router" to "bridge" in your airtel router settings. - Connect the bridged port to the WAN port of your main (self bought) router. Input the WAN log-in id & password (if you don't know, ask airtel executive) in your main router settings. There is no need of changing any other settings or static ip. My airtel router shows "red" light i.e offline indication when in bridge mode. That's normal. As for why you need bridge mode on your airtel router instead of connecting your main router via any other mode is because you would want to access all features of your main router and that can only happen when your main router is the primary router (afaik). Hope this helps. Cheers.
  8. Yes, have already gone through a few threads before, but haven't found anything concrete yet. Will be searching further in depth. Has a lot of information on airtel so might find something or the other useful. Thanks. Cheers.
  9. Today another executive came home to bridge their router. All he did was change the connection type in airtel router to "bridge" from previous "router" mode and changed the WAN id password in my asus router settings. It did not do jacksh*t. Internet stopped working and he absolutely had no clue what else to do and said he will discuss with the team and return later. lol. He just wanted me to accept that it cannot happen and make do with their router. If this is the level of incompetence in a firm like airtel i can't imagine what other ISP customers must be going through. Cheers.
  10. Quick update : Spoke with Airtel guys. Said they can bridge the airtel router but i need to pay for static ip for it to be permanent else after ever restart they have to re-do all the settings. They also said i cannot do anything by myself. Only they can change the settings. Cheers.
  11. Hey guys, i recently got a new airtel xstream connection and everything is working great. But i want to use my Asus router instead of the Airtel one. I read online that the way to do it is bridge the Airtel one. I have no knowledge in this regard. Online articles are not very clear. Does any one have link to a step by step guide/video? and do we have to inform airtel to enable any LAN port as bridge? Details would be helpful. Thanks in advance. Cheers.
  12. Guys, for fibre connection does anyone have experience with tata play? i have option to choose between tata play and airtel. Currently using you broadband since last eternity (more than a decade) lol. Any feedback on both these connections would be great. And how is the router provided by these companies? i already bought the asus RT-AX82U so don't really need it, but they would be providing it anyway. Cheers.
  13. Asus AX5400 RT-AX82U Wifi 6 Router. Cheers.
  14. I have observed that there are multiple individual threads regarding which monitors to buy for gaming/workstation/multimedia etc. as the same question in PC ask the experts thread doesn't get much response. I too have been waiting to purchase a gaming monitor due to lack of options in India. The delay in launching new products in our country is quite frustrating. Thus guidance to prospective buyer as to the current availability of a product or the current options in the market would be very helpful. 1. Prospective buyers can post the specs they are looking for or their use case and budget and get recommendations from other members. 2. It would also be great if all the members can post which monitor are they currently using along with short feedback/review and any experience they had with after sales service. Even just mentioning the name of the currently owned monitor along with PC specs would help build a consensus of the right/most popular monitor for a specific use case/specs. 3. General discussion regarding monitors like any issue being faced or tuning etc. Cheers.
