Except Rohit's wicket and Jaiswal to some extent, every other wicket was thrown away. Kohli is almost in retirement phase but yet to fix the issue plaguing him from last 11-12 years!!

Got the game on sale. Played first few hours! Man what a game! Feels amazing for a Potter head like me. Great attention to details of the Potter world and game mechanics. Although I feel control scheme is not intuitive and RPG elements are surface level but the world makes up for it.

The pricing is insane for even first world countries!
-
Same here. I couldn't notice any major difference except TLOU demo where Cerny specifically mentioned choppy framerate.
-
It is same in theatre apps too. They charge exactly the same amount as BMS convenience fees.
-
Yeah we also lost ODI series to SL after 27 years

Glad forum is back finally! Have been trying to access every week last three months.

What an innings by Butler! Specially against quality spin attack without any dew and with no support from the other end apart from Powell. He himself was struggling to time the ball start of the innings and in the end, exhausted!! The 200+ matches really need to stop! It has become so boring to watch these matches!

What a massacre from SRH!! I know RCB bowling has been pretty ordinary from the inception but this is disgusting to say the least! It's so difficult and hard to be RCB fan right now!!
-
For all the humiliation, embarrassment, ridicule the RCB fans had to endure for 15+ years, this comes as a great achievement and satisfying closure for supporting the team! What a win! Finally Ee sala cup namdu!!
-
Yeah this despite a single rank turner/dust-bowl pitch used in the entire series + some key players missing in Indian team + England winning toss 3 times and batting first on good pitches.
-
What a bowling performance by India and meltdown from England. I hope India bats only once and win by an innings to end this fantastic series!
-
I hope this is applicable to all players in future and BCCI follows the same rule. Iyer did not play Ranji claiming back spasms but went to KKR pre camp which seems to have pissed off BCCI.
-
Great win Jurel and Jaiswal were great! special mention to Gill although I didn't think he would survive. Patidar has been disappointing! He seems to have so much potential however the occasion seems to get to him. I hope Sarfaraz comes good although Dharamshala will be fast bowling friendly. I think Bumrah, Siraj and Akashdeep will play if it is seamer friendly pitch along with Ashwin and Jadeja. If KL is fit, he will replace Patidar.
-
That was a great test match! Excellent batting and then bowling. Piling on the pressure on England! So far, no rank turners but I hope at least Ranchi turns by the end of day 1 to see how bazzball fares! It's not guaranteed that Rohit will win toss always and England will crumble.
-
For the first time in this series, it looks like India have bowled well entire session with control and building pressure. This without Ashwin and Jadeja only bowling one over!.
-
Yeah if the pitch is spinning, I am not sure why we need second fast bowler! Why is Washington Sundar is ignored is beyond me; I know his bowling needs work in tests but he won't get better till given chance.
-
Interesting! Iyer is mentioned as he is supposed to be "best player of spin" in subcontinent which I believe he has proved previously but now out of form/touch. I am not sure how Dhruv Jurel plays or keeps but this makes sense! Where is Ishan Kishan? would have been perfect in this series.
-
Based on reports, it seems Virat may not be available for the whole series. KL will be back next test so Patidar won't get chance unless they plan to replace Iyer which they won't. I hope Bharat gets replaced too as his batting even in subcontinent is poor and keeping which was supposed to be good has not clicked either. If Shami is back there is no problem for fast bowler replacement.
-
ThereChampion bowler Bumrah!! Taking 6 wickets on that docile pitch with skill and reverse swing! Great to watch. Now if India bats sensibly, there can be some hope tomorrow.
-
Same goes for Gill. Giving wicket to Anderson on flat pitch when bowl is neither swinging nor reversing should be a crime! The last two wickets - Axar and Bharat's were pretty ordinary late in the day. These guys need training on temperament and situation awareness I think.

PlayStation vs Xbox vs Nintendo thread

So are the people concerned with Sony's lineup in 2024 and beyond are now satisfied after first state of play or need to wait till February 6 on the follow-up? -
Frankly speaking, Gill is overrated in tests; specially in subcontinental conditions. Apart from that Australia series, he has not done anything worthwhile.

Such an ordinary performance in all 3 departments from India. In a same pitch, opposition tail enders made 100 runs on the same day morning and Indian batting couldn't survive 70 overs. The worst part is England bowling was so weak, if India planned strategically this would have been easy chase. Both Rohit and Dravid does not seem to have any plan B when opposition starts playing differently. Some of the field placing even for tail enders was so bizarre. The batting in both innings was so ordinary (which has been the case last 3 years), even more disappointed with first innings being when batters were throwing their wickets away and didn't understand why Jadeja and Axar went so defensive third day morning. It's so disheartening to see such formidable dominance built in last 12 years getting crumbled.
-
Agreed. With the situation where Jaiswal is going hard and striking well there was no need of that shot. England would be demoralised if India did not lose a single wicket by end of the day's play.
