Im switching to PC version. I need mods to increase my weight limit and other quality of life  changes coz game is too punishing and it can make experience frustrating.  Lol

Started this last night. The AI is brutal! I'm playing on the Stalker difficulty setting and I can already tell I will be saving, dying and reloading a lot in this game.

If you notice, rarely in open world if you're in a firefight one of the enemy will vanish from the map and quietly sneak behind you. If he hits you you'll become stunned for a while and may kill you in one shot. It's so cool..

OMG... I just completed one of the most annoying side missions in the game... out in the poppy fields! The damn poppy plants put me to sleep and worse those poppy leaves killed me till I figured out that:

 

- Stamina Drinks although help your stamina but don't prevent you from dying if you stay too long out in the poppy plantation areas.

 

- You must jut out from time to time, completely away from the poppy plantation area to stay alive and cure your drowsiness.

 

Died so many times... uff! So happy got the side quest done in the end

I dunno what happened but I got unlimited stamina in Poppy Fields .. I could run endlessly. 

Gotta love these glitches, lol

Holy sh33t! Exactly opposite happened to me... kept dying out of nowhere, even when I was away from all those flying poppy leaves! Just random death kicked in. That's when I thought let me just get FAR AWAY from the poppy fields after getting each objective completed out there. That worked for the greater part of the mission but then... problem was that strange things/ hallucinations started happening amongst those sleep inducing poppy plants and the game would magically give me a long black screen (like my character almost fainting) and then spawned me away from the last objective repeatedly... that's when it got very annoying!

 

Game definitely has it's fair share of bugs right now. Definitely needs a patch/ patches.

the guy in the house explains what happens to those in the poppy fields, so it’s easy to know when to head in and when to get out

yeah the blacking out and teleporting is part of the side quest, I didn’t have much trouble tho, worth it for the gun

I went in after watching couple of story videos so I'm kinda aware but I think even if you go blind you'll understand after a while.
