(A)Kira
Well yeah, my dp is Vino from Baccano Baccano is a masterpiece of an anime. I love it, especially the way it goes about its plot. I'd definitely recommend the dub in this case. This is one of the most funny, action filled and captivating anime you have to watch. And the soundtrack is just freaking amazing. But the amount of gore in this might put some people off. There is a part where a kid's head gets shot off and his fingers cut off. Also a guy is completely covered in the blood of his victims, but these scenes are far and few. If anything, just watch it for the amazing story. Nemo
Thanks. But I am confused about the movies, death and rebirth And end of evangelion. Arent they retelling of the episodes themselves? with some extra content thrown in.
(A)Kira
I think that basically the episodes were made way back when, and the movies are a retelling of them. If I could, I'd recommend the episodes and not the movies first. Its always good to see the original content, though with some dated visuals. But first I'd recommend you watch these- May contain tiny spoilers and hilarity. Edited August 7, 2013 by Beelzebub
NitroNeo
When it comes to anime, it's always better to start from the original series, donno about movies, i will watch the series later not much into Mecha yet
Noctis
Thanks. But I am confused about the movies, death and rebirth And end of evangelion. Arent they retelling of the episodes themselves? with some extra content thrown in. Just watch the Rebuild of Evangelion movies. Don't bother with anything else at this point, the rebuild series is a polished remake of the entire series and well worth watching.

NitroNeo
Don't usually enjoy paradies unless they are kept within bounds & don't feel insulting to the source [unless it's twilight], this was definately that while being shitload of funny nigahina did a awesome job

The story really comes together in the end and ties up any and all loose ends. Just go with the flow and enjoy the experience. And remember to watch the 3 OVA too.
