Ne0 Posted April 30, 2025 Report Share Posted April 30, 2025 Biggest problem I find in most borderland games, at least the two games that I tried - borderlines2 and 3 was that the initial gear is so shitty and the enemy drops you get for the initial levels are so bad and enemies are so strong that it just take the joy out of the game in the initial levels itself. Heaven Angel Posted August 14, 2025 Author Report Share Posted August 14, 2025 Borderlands 4 is adding & changing more than you might think: - The game consists of four large open zones that can be seamlessly explored, so a lot less loading screens than previous entries - This also means there’s room for more varied activities in the world, like protecting a drone while it’s hacking, bosses you can find in the world and platforming puzzles. - You can find vault fragments that can be combined to form a key, that can open access to a special vault dungeon with a unique boss and rewards - Movement has been heavily expanded, you now have access to a glide, double jump, dash and even a grappling hook, which is useful for traversal, but can also be used to grab items from afar - The four new vault hunters of course have their action skills and skill trees, but new for BL4 is a trait: a passive buff available from the start that give you special combat buffs to refine your playstyle even further - Thanks to the new Licensed Parts-system, weapons can now combine parts and behaviours from multiple manufacturers in a single item - You can quickly respawn bosses without the need to reload the game thanks to the new Moxxi’s Encore Machine that you’ll find near the boss arena - Your new Digi-Runner vehicle can be summoned anywhere in the world - Grenades have been changed to Ordnance, a category of gear that contains many different weapons like rocket launchers, cannons and even throwing knives, and these all work on a cooldown. - The new Rep-Kit item can be used to heal yourself mid-combat, with higher level ones providing additional buffs like increased Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
