That’s still not true in PS5’s case. I bought at launch & Phat Model cost me 50k. My cousin bought in 2024 & Slim model cost him just 39k during sale season. He also got more HDD space. PS5 is still on track as a normal console generation… It’s only some who have got derailed & will be soon out of existence….atleast in current proprietary form.
