SchneideR
any game bought directly through steam is always region free. Cool... But I opted for Amazon.co.uk. Physical copy FTW... Which reminds me. I got Darksiders Hellbook Edition and the artwork is too freakin orgasmic... The game as you all would know is too damn wonderful... Chaztin
Nice info Praveer, but I guess it won't be compatible with steam?
spindoctor
black ops is a steamworks game, every pc copy will link to steam.
spindoctor
mw2 was steamworks. that's how you managed to buy a cd key on g2play and still link it to steam black ops is also steamworks.
spindoctor
Ya, but while you can buy games from Steam, the disc versions aren't always Steamworks-compulsory. peace in the case of mw2 and black ops, they are. not waw or any other call of duty though. there's only about 200 games ever released that actually use steamworks and require steam. I remember seeing GTA SA on the list of games not compatible with win 7. But, thanks for the update dude Edited November 6, 2010 by Ne0
Aftrunner
So it begins. Step 1 : Put money in your steam wallet. "I swear I wont buy pointless stuff cause its cheap." Step 2 : Start buying games you already own on console(s). "Whats the harm in trying the PC version? Its only like 10 bucks lol." Step 3 : Start buying games you already own on the PC. "Well its nice to have it on steam, what if I lose the disc? Plus its only like 5 bucks." Step 4 : Start buying games you never played, never will. "Ugh why not. I got nothing else to play anyway. And at 2.50 bucks it would be rude to not buy it." . . . . . . Step 5 : "I R STEAM'S BITCH!"

SchneideR
One of the many reasons why I opted for a physical copy of COD BO... That way I get the awesomeness of a physical copy and no irritation of keeping my lappy on for 3 days to dl the game...
