It's done - GSC is gone, the team is now Vostok Games and works on an MMO called "SURVAVIUM" tbr end of 2013. STALKER 2 - "We did not reach agreement with the rights owner regarding the use of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. brand, that’s why we made the decision to move forward as an independent studio with a new project." We secured new investors. We were however unable to secure the IP rights from the owwer to continue with the Stalker franchise. Elessar Posted April 26, 2012 Report Share Posted April 26, 2012 Official Stalker on Facebook - Stalkers, while most of you are angry and upset (which we understand) please know that since December 2011 the entire Stalker team (myself included) was working without pay on Stalker 2 while new investors were scouted. That is our dedication. Sadly we could not gain legal rights to the franchise. We are still the same team working now at Vostok Games and on Survarium. The reason we cannot continue with the development of Stalker 2 is we and our new investors we unable to come to an agreement with the IP rights onwer. The entire team that was working on Stalker is now working on a new project called Survarium. We are so grateful for the support over the years and despite our best efforts we have to move on from Stalker which is as hard for us as it is for you. Even though it's not official for now. thanks to shenhaZ for heads up. Big Boss Posted July 31, 2012 Report Share Posted July 31, 2012 STALKER games were already filled with bugs, untill they patched it in like 10-12 tries. CoP was not that bad I guess.
