A new FIA World Rally Championship game is on the way for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

 

It's being developed by Black Bean Games and in-house studio Milestone, which previously produced SBK Superbike and MotoGP.

 

"Milestone has been working hard on this title and our expectations are really high," said Black Bean boss Virgilio Bixio.

 

"We will be able to provide the utmost competitive title that will provide extremely positive results. Furthermore, Milestone’s work is enriched by the overwhelming support we have received from the WRC community."

 

The new game is due to launch in 2010.

That was a long time ago. I adored Screamer. Screamer Rally too. But Milestone's recent games have been uninspired.

I liked the MotoGP/SBK games! They weren't flashy but the actual gameplay was really good!

 

Kind of like Richard Burns Rally. Nowhere near as polished as CMR or WRC4, but it had the features and gameplay to make up for it.

Try the Superstars V8 demo. Its on XBL and its just 500-odd MB. I think its their most recent game so it should give you a fair idea of how far theyve come. PS2-level rubberband AI, no damage whatsoever (even cosmetic), strictly average in the looks department, and floaty vehicle controls.

They haven't done four wheels in years. I've only played their MotoGP/SBK games :rant:

 

Still, WRC is a big license. They might put more into it than a 'Superstars V8' game. Hopefully :)

So what are you trying to say? That the Italian V8 Championship isn't a big enough license? :cheers:

:):ko: Italian V8 , All these years I knew it was called Australian V8 series raced all across Australia's famous tracks , didn't knew there was a V8 series in Italy as well. :huh:
