Not only does this mean Tekken 6 will look brand-spanking new, it also means it’ll take a bit of time to get your head around it. All of those reference points that came with seeing the same, familiar character animations in the last few games will be gone and you’ll have to get to know each opponent’s moves inside out. It’ll be like the first time you ever played Tekken. 2) High heels and shotguns at dawn Yes, you’re looking at an almighty catfight between Nina Williams and Anna, her sister. Anna, in the sexy maid/nurse’s outfit, has gone completely mental and is fighting so intensely she’s kicked her own high-heel off. It’s meant to happen, though. Now, every character has their own weapon to fling or fire at opponents to spice things up during a bout. A stiletto in the nads sure is gonna sting. 3) It’s got a lady-boy Well, not that kind of lady-boy. But it was a surprise when the boyish looking Leo, resplendent in builder’s work boots and a motorbike jacket, turned out to be the owner of a fine pair of X chromosomes, not that we have a problem with that. Leo’ll offer something for everyone - she’ll be accessible enough for noobs, and will have enough depth to satisfy those who’ve seen it all before. There’s some sort of revenge thing going on with rival Kazuya, but who cares about plot when you’re kicking someone’s head in? Exactly. 4) Play as a customizable killing machine Jack-5, a variant on series stalwart Gun Jack is kick-a*s. Notice the armor plating adorning his chest? You can put that there. What you can’t see are the enormous guns available to bolt to his back - fingers crossed you’ll be able to use these in combat. Check out the sheer impact of his hits too. The screen warps under the shockwave he creates. 5) Buy hilarious weapons Planned for the game’s Japanese arcade release in the autumn is the ability to connect to Tekken-net, the Japanese site which will broadcast live matches, and sell comedy weapons. The street brawler cum Thai boxer Bruce Irvin can be outfitted with chicken eggs that will hatch unleashing the satanic fury of half a dozen fluffy chicks. Maybe the reason for that is it is only avaialble on PSN store and since our credit card dont work on US PSN not many people could buy it....
