Yeah, I didn't buy a pc for that but i did buy it pretty soon using the glitch for 2.5 years. Its another thing that I have hardly finished more than 5-6 games from it in that 2.5 years period. Hence, haven't renewed it now.

Yeah, I wouldn't buy Xbox for it. But as a PC gamer, I can see PC gamespass being especially valuable for those who game a lot.

Gamepass is definitely a good value, as long as you have time to finish a lot of games. For someone like me who finishes 1 game in 1-2 months, doesn't make much sense to renew it.

Finished the campaign few weeks back on PC. Such a fun campaign, easily the best COD one in years.

Unless streaming becomes the norm in gaming, which I don't see happening anytime soon, I don't see GamePass doing anything substantial for MS. If COD didn't lead to a big increase in subs, what else will?

Apart from COD console exclusivity (and maybe Elder Scrolls), none of the Xbox first games shown till now will have any impact on console sales. Xbox as a system has pretty much lost all desirability.

From a console exclusives perspective, PS5 has been great this generation, even better in many regards compared to PS4. However, purely the first-party output has been lacking (regardless of the reason). No two ways on that.

Just got around to looking at some of the previews. Game looks good. Exactly what I wanted. Will definitely play it day 1. Time to renew Gamepass sub I guess.

None of that is innovation, just iteration. Having said that, Switch 2 didn't need to be innovative. It is exactly what it should have been.

From a desirability perspective, i get that but don't see that happening.

It won't play all the 3rd party games and it doesn't need to either, just like all Nintendo systems.
