Got 5 stars with all preppers in Mexico. The DHV Magellan has infinite storage in the private locker. After maxing out the connection with each prepper, just use the fast travel to visit each one, take out the tricruiser and load up the metals, ceramics, etc, and bring them to Australia directly to build roads and rail lines. Amazing QOL feature. Probably the best feature of the game.

Road pavers are already at fixed locations. We need to submit metals, crystals and ceramics to each paver. Sometimes, other players contribute some materials. I keep all the metals and ceramics from each location in DMV’s private locker

I just can’t get myself to do main orders. I’m addicted to standard orders and building roads and monorails.

I think he's playing it on PC. Will take another 2-3 years by the time DS2 launches on PC

Many old forums are still very active primarily because of ads. Without ads, it's hard to survive.

It was all there in OG edition too. The director’s cut made only a few QoL changes, most notably allowing floating carriers on ziplines. Other than that, it’s the same. However, traversal is super difficult in the first game compared to the sequel.

Phil Spencer is either the worst gaming executive of all time or he is secretly a Sony employee sabotaging xbox from the inside.

GOTY material

But I didn’t play it, so it can’t win GOTY

^Would be surprised if any other game wins GOTY over DS2. Clear winner for me.

The improvements in this game are focused on traversal. They made the game a bit too easy tbh. The harsh environments and tight inventory management from the first game aren’t there here. Building stuff is easy and can be done very early on. And you don’t have to walk as much if you choose to use trucks or bikes for deliveries. But this is mostly in response to criticism of the first game. And it allows more people to enjoy.
