Zod
The Order 1886Publisher: Sony Computer EntertainmentDeveloper: Sony Santa Monica & Ready At DawnPlatform: PS4Release Date: TBA Sony has announced The Order 1886 for the PlayStation 4, developed by Ready at Dawn. Set in Victorian London, the game will follow a male and female duo who fight supernatural threats. Ready At Dawn revealed its first original IP at Sony’s E3 press conference. The game will, of course, be exclusive to PS4. The trailer gives us a glimpse of Victorian-era London – airships and all! It’s forty years after the Industrial Revolution, but in an alternate reality. In this reality, the revolution came about to due to man’s need to overcome their centuries long battle against an ancient foe. Players take control of a knight from an ancient order; destined to fight for the sake of mankind. Along the way you will encounter real-life historical figures, visit real places, and take part in actual events that happened in the past. According to Run Weerasuriya, CEO and Creative Director of Ready At Dawn Studios, they wanted “to create a seamless experience when it came to the game.” That means players will never notice any discrepancies between gameplay and cutscenes. The two will blend seamlessly. Everything is rendered in real time as you play the game. Which essentially means that the way that everything appears in the trailer is how it will look in the game. No release date was announced, but that won’t stop us from being excited! meaNmachine
From the article KC posted: “The Order is the group that has been watching over mankind” “The genesis was really about trying to build on the common consciousness of people, like the things they know. But what if the things they know weren’t really the way they thought they were?” That realism transcends the characters in the game. Real people from history are set to appear in The Order: 1886 I see a lot of similarities with AC games. But that isn't a bad thing for me. AC is garbage stuff these days so really looking forward to this. Plus I love the Steampunk art style.
