It would have been great if the keeper appreciates bowler/fielder when the batsmen is beaten or a fielder throws a good throw

Yeah I have always believed that on field reactions should play a big part in the gameplay, the gameplay part BA would get right[most part] but would really like such small things though..Would make a big difference..

And they should have frequent skippable cut scenes like we have in other sports games, so that we actually see player faces up close. Like in tv. Bowler going back to his run up, talking with captain, a random fielder being shown, or batsman talking or just adjusting his gear etc. It shows the player faces up close and then we really have some use of player academy's custom faces. Else it's just useless. You never got to see faces regularly in DBC 14. So it didn't matter how accurate the players looked.

Yeah you can see in the videos that close ups are more now compared to before but how effectively we should wait for the game..Those are edited videos so cannot say much but I do feel there should be more this time around...

Play in pro mode and you will see the faces.

Finally saw the video. The presentation is still very bad. Even the graphics are bad. The players still look cartoonish, there is no detail.

I hope some big company sponsors this game so that Big Ant can put some more effort in polishing the game.

Play for the gameplay, not the graphics. DBC14 was the best game gameplay wise. Graphics toh ashes k bhi ache the

Actually the video doesnt show the quality and how the game looks

This pic was posted by MattW to show how the game looks in reality when compared to the video we got to see..

We also have to keep in mind all the players here are generic so when the created players and teams are added to game it would make the environment even more realistic..

Left is video shot and right is the in game screenshot..

Could you be more specific on presentation point?

For players looks you should really see the created players couldnt get more real..

Eg: Chris Woakes created by Rajsvm

Virat Kohli.

^Kohli doesn't look realistic at all.

Also that comparison photo looks almost the same on both sides. I will view it on PC at night, maybe on mobile you can't spot the difference.

Presentation wise it lacks many things. No cutscenes, crowd looks tiny, stadium scale doesn't look good. The scorecards are limited. It is clear that they lack funding to spend time on polish. Hopefully they get good backing for next game. But even if they don't, I hope they keep making these games so that we get some cricket game regularly. I am going to buy it anyways to support the game.

Those are user created players, was just giving examples..I really like the way they are able to create player's likeness much much better than the previous time..'

Presentation part would be visible when we get to see the full game as those videos are edited by Twistie...

Scorecards though the big screen seems to have the same old scorecard and the display hasnt changed, which even I did not like, hoping that its not the full of what we have seen of the game..I really wanted the on field big screen used to show live telecast of the game maybe even replays...

That was a dev kit so wouldnt be sure if its got all the stuffs in the game..Things should be more and more visible when we get close to release..

I hope they do not get any external backing, funding or interference. With external funding there are associated targets also, if they fail to achieve that there would be cut downs and what not.

Let big ants do what they are doing, there is no competition thats why they get away with lack of polish. Let Don Bradman Cricket get popular enough to warrant a competition.

Hope Don Bradman Cricket 14 stays with big ants forever.

Some noticeable issues here and there , hopefully rectified within release..

You can see the gameplay looks better with created players..The flow of the game is really good..And the stadium it is being played is a created one, looks amazing..

I am going to play it on a kiosk before buying, can't trust reviews or Planet Cricket (especially).

Few issues are still not fixed, one of that is camera wobbles up and down when it is tracking a travelling ball. I hated in DB14.

2nd is still no zoomed in broadcast cam. I may have missed, but its the deal breaker for me. No zoom in, no buying.

The videos are 1vs1 so the camera used is far cam bowling not broadcast..

Why broadcast, behind cam works really well with the game to play..And for the camera, the shown camera I dont like as well, would prefer something like Fielding cam 1 or 2 how they had in DBC 14..
