@babloos....well yeah a little...ok not half...its just more fun online with the escalated risk of someone invading and mothering you. But SP is also fun...so dont worry. This game is not worth leaving. Absolutely a must buy.

Lol Oblivion is awesome , one of the best RPG's ever made.

I just love playing that game , never get bored , there are always quests to do in the quest log , which almost never ends.

Plus Oblivion had different guilds like mages , thieves , dark brotherhood , fighters etc. which I missed so much in Fallout 3.

And I have no problems with enemies leveling as well , once u lvl up get better weapons , u can counter them as well , but this makes it challenging.

Even after playing more than 100+ hours of playing both PS3 and PC combined, I don't know how many aylied ruins , forts etc. are still left to be explored , the game world is so huge. :(

Really? Oblivion never got challenging. The enemy scaling was a joke and took out most of the fun from leveling up or getting new equipment. Compared to that Fallout 3 was a lot better. At least you couldn't wander into areas like Downtown DC before leveling up/getting better gear.

Still, I love Oblivion. It's easily one of the most expansive game worlds ever created and there were always plenty of things to do. The Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild storylines were great and the game looked gorgeous back when it came out. Who can ever forget coming out of the sewers in the beginning?

Yeah, people who don't like oblivion either don't like rpgs or never got past the sewers.

played some more and holy shiyatt.. it looks sad on a sdtv, not the game's fault but mine as i havent gone Hd yet  I cant play at the recommended brightness as then the game goes too dark for me, the fonts are barely read-able damn  that is it, no more games till i go HD.

Also, a question. So i picked Royal, haven not played much but why is soul arrow so very spammable ?? The infinite usage of that spell is taking away the fun some what, I mean i find myself deliberately pushing myself to use the sword, otherwise its roll, lock in and use the arrow. Does the game get hard later on ?? Though i must say i have barely played 15 mins.

Also should i be using another class ?? Royal is looking somewhat easy, i dont want a tough class, neither do i want an easy class.. what to do ?? :D

edit, also, LULz.. i found the thief's ring, i wonder how jr and killroy missed it :D

Oblivion on the PC with the OoO mod is one of the best fantasy RPGs you will ever play. The mod takes care of the level scaling bullshit and adds so many tweaks that it plays like a whole different game, and a better one to boot.

Yeah OOO mod was awesome , also the graphics were upgraded wit the Quarl's texture pack mod , its adds around 1GB of new textures to the game.

Oblivion is still a awesome RPG on PC combined with OOO and Quarl's texture mod.

@shockwave...nah dude you are so wrong...very strong claim you make there which is totally false again...Infact Oblivion's whole 'enemies level up with you' was bullshit...so NOT RPG...one of the things that made it boring, for me atleast(see what I did there?). Of course the mod helped, but my playthrough on the X360 spoilt my experience somewhat.

Anyways getting back to topic, comparisons of Oblivion with Demon's Souls are actually stupid. And people who suggested raghav NOT to play this game need to rethink. Demon's Souls is way more action oriented. No matter how high level you become, it all boils down to skill. Parry timing and the right move at the right time. I still suggest raghav should check this out. Again..i repeat...the game is NOT HARD. Its challenging. If you are a good enough gamer, you shouldnt have problem with this at all. Go for it raghav.

@nemo...when did I say I missed the thief's ring..I think i was the one who pointed out the location to someone in spoiler tags.

AS for the easiness of the class..you can stick with royalty..,there is not real problem choosing classes. You will have to learn everything as you go. You will HAVE to put stat points in STR, VIT and stuff if you want to survive. Maybe now enemies dont have magic resistance, but later on there are many that have insane magic resistance and have to be cut open. Ive been in 15 hours and still in second world second boss(first world area 1-2 as i cant progress after that unless I kill an Archdemon)...so you have a long way to go.

yeah wait till you get mobbed. Or find a boss that you cant get in range with the soul arrow. Also one particular dragon is going to make you its bitch :notangel:

Im telling this to you now...you will die on the 'bridge' my friend...you will die. :threatenlumber:
