Card and price

 

 

 

R9 and R7 GPU series announced. The R9 will be the higher end series:

 

- r7 250, less than 89$

 

- r7 260x ($150) - 2gb GDDR 5, 2700 in 3dmark firestrike

 

- r9 270x (fastest card under 200$, )

 

- r9 280 (fastest card under 300, 3gb GDDR5)

 

- r9 290X (AMD says its the most powerful GPU its ever built). It has 4gb of memory and will come with Battlefield 4 in limited edition bundle packs. Skinner says it will be great for 4K gaming, because he asserts you need 4GB of GDDR5 RAM.

Price of the R9-290X damn it! Y U NO TELL US THAT AMD? Enough suspense. I'm gonna guess $499 looking at their other cards' prices, that'll put Nvidia's 780 in a tough spot. $399 would be even better

Update: After the colleagues have written about ready, now we can probably solve the mystery: XDMA. Using additional DMA engines want to push for the necessary image data exchange from now through the PCI-Express, which should easily cope with the amount of data needed for this. However, the latency of this is clearly important, but may be similar to the frame-pacing technology, which is now firmly in the driver, be sure to keep them under control. Earlier there were "loose bridge" Crossfire - but only for beginners cards.

The price of the Radeon R9-290X is not likely to settle over 599 U.S. dollar and euro, and responded to the leaked benchmarks, AMD Official betrayed us, that this may have been achieved in any case with a single card and standard timing. Some are too low, too high, and a few other subject within the 5% deviation of realistic results.
