4070 build for 75k just wont be possible. What all do you need in the build? Everything on the tower or select parts?

I needed the complete tower.

4070 build was touching close to 1.5, so i stretched my budget and got a ryzen 7800x3d , 4080 build

I am planning a PC and I asked around - 7700X and Zotac 4080 Super build will cost around 1.82L - that sound good to you? Or do you recommend waiting for 50 series launch?

 

7700X seems very close to 7800X3D above 1440p in fps. Any other major advantage of 7800X3D over 7700X?

IMO better to wait till 50 series cards are out and go with 7800X3D build.

Any reason you're going for 4080 Super? I have a 4070 and it works perfectly @ 1440.

I can easily do 4k with all settings ultra on 4080 super. Fps around 40-60 without dlss, exceeds 70 with dlss in most games

also if you are mainly into gaming go with x3d.

What kind of scalper prices are you see for 9800x3D in India? I’ve seen it around 51k - do you think this is a scalped price or non-scalped considering the $489 launch price?

Here’s how I am thinking about it -

 

1) CPU - 7700X for upto 35k. It’s an AM5 CPU and nearly as good as 7800x3d in 1440p-4k range. 
 

2) GPU - upto 1.1L, could be 4080S or maybe even 5080 if pricing is good 

 

3) remaining components to be optimized in 60k

 

total 2.1L

 

what do you think about all these components?
