I am confused, Nvida took DLSS4 into account for claiming 5070 = 4090.

It was clear that they have only made gains in the AI domain and not everyday gaming performance.

I hard for them to gain raw performance .

There has to be huge Node change.

Both 4xxx series and 5xxx are on same 5nm node.

That's exactly what I meant.

I don't think customers can expect steady gains in raw performance every year for the same price.

Games are already using AI upscaling and everything, it's time that customers understand that the gains have to come from these innovations.

Plus these innovations need hardware as well, it's not Nvidia is selling the re-branded hardware.

 

And it can't just be a node change, even if we go to 4-3-2nm node, the gains will only be limited and we will face the same saturation again. It's time lean more heavily towards algorithmic side rather than the raw compute side.

Hi Guys, quick question, I currently have a 3060ti gfx card, works on most games at high settings/2k, but some games like Indiana jones requires me to downgrade to medium due to low video memory.  Is it worth upgrading to 4070 super (12gb) ? Or should I just wait out this gen and upgrade around ps6 time ?
